Representation is describing or portraying something in a particular way or as being of a certain nature.
Next up is Space. In this case the definition would be: An area provided for a particular purpose.
From this I can understand that what we are doing is to research the representations of certain characters based on gender ethinicty or even age and to research the environments those characters are usually placed in.
